The Three Signature Suits

Every tile, hand-drawn

The numbered tiles — 108 in all — carry the artwork that makes the Golf Collection what it is. Same suits the game has always had. Far better company.

Pouches

The Dots · 1–9

The Dots suit, reimagined. Each dot becomes a nicotine pouch laid out on the tile — the quiet ritual of the back nine, one through nine.

Transfusions

The Craks · 1–9

The Craks suit, poured over ice. The halfway-house classic — grape, ginger and lime — with a straw for every crak. Count the straws to read the tile.

The Greens

The Bams · 1–9

The Bams suit, mown and rolled. Each tile is a putting green that grows hole by hole — the flagstick numbered so you always know where you stand.

Is this a real, playable mahjong set?

Completely. The Golf Collection is a full 152-tile American mahjong set built to tournament standard. Only the artwork is ours — the suits, counts and rules are exactly what the game has always used, so it plays with any National Mah Jongg League card.

He's never played. Will he be lost?

Not for long. American mahjong is far friendlier than it looks — most players are in the swing of it within a round or two. Our How to Play guide walks through everything in plain English, Golf Collection tiles and all.

About the artwork on the tiles — pouches and cocktails?

It's hand-drawn artwork, and a wink at country-club culture for the adult player. Nothing but tiles comes in the box — just very good taste and a sense of humor about the back nine.

When can I actually buy one?

Manjong Tiles is a brand-new workshop and the first edition is still being produced — we don't have sets in hand just yet. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first to hear when they're ready and how to order.
